GERB Leader Boyko Borissov Announced the New Cabinet Line-up

The leader of the centre-right GERB, Boyko Borissov, announced on 3^rd of May the names of the ministers in the new cabinet of GERB-United Patriots coalition.

On 4^th of May, Borssov will hand the file with the names and portfolios in the future cabinet to Bulgaria’s President Roumen Radev and the cabinet will be put to vote in Parliament.

The structure of the Council Ministers includes a Prime Minister, 4 Deputy Prime Ministers and 18 ministers.

The United Patriots alliance will have two Deputy Prime Ministers: Valeri Simeonov and Krasimir Karakachanov.

On 4^th of May, the candidate Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will hand a document for successfully fulfilled mandate for forming a government to the President Roumen Radev, GERB’s press statement says. The document includes the proposed cabinet:

Deputy Prime Minister, without portfolio and in charge of EU funds management – Tomislav Donchev

Deputy Prime Minister, in charge of economic and demographic policy - Valeri Simeonov

Deputy Prime Minister, in charge of public order and security, and Defence Minister - Krassimir Karakachanov

Deputy Prime Minister, in charge of judicial reform, and Minister of Foreign Affairs - Ekaterina Zaharieva

Minister of Finance: Vladislav Goranov

Minister of Interior: Valentin Radev

Minister of Regional Development: Nikolai Nenkov

Minister of Justice: Tsetska Tsacheva

Minister of Energy: Temenuzhka Petkova

Minister of the Economy: Emil Karanikolov
