President Rumen Radev designated Bulgarian National Audit Office Vice-President Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva as the next caretaker Prime Minister, the President's Press Secretariat said on August 9.
The President's announcement came minutes after the Council of Ministers announced that Dimitar Glavchev refused to be caretaker Prime Minister for a second term. He said the reason was that he did not want to create political tension.
