The official election campaign begins at midnight on September 27.
Bulgaria’s early parliamentary elections are scheduled for October 27. This will be the seventh time over a period of three years that Bulgarians elect a legislature.
A total of 19 parties and 9 coalitions are registered to participate in the elections. The election campaign ends at midnight on October 25.
The campaign must be conducted in Bulgarian language. Publishing and broadcasting of anonymous materials is banned during the campaign period.
The last day before the elections is a day of reflection and campaigning is banned.
There will be polling stations abroad in 60 countries. Bulgarian citizens abroad who are eligible and wish to vote should complete an application by 1 October.
