А subcommittee of the Energy Committee in Bulgaria’s Parliament will monitor the work of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC).
А subcommittee of the Energy Committee in Bulgaria’s Parliament will monitor the work of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. This was decided unanimously by the MPs on 18th of May. The chair of the subcommittee will be GERB’s MP Valentin Nikolov.
"Because EWRC is an independent body, we will not interfere in its work, but when we see that its activity can be assisted, we will intervene," said Delyan Dobrev, the chair of Parleiment’s Energy Commission.
The new subcommittee was welcomed by the head of the energy regulator Ivan Ivanov.
