The Bulgarian Parliament adopted on 13 July at second reading the amendments to the Law on the Ministry of Interior. The amendments provide for the reimbursement of the police officers who paid for their uniforms.
The Bulgarian Parliament adopted on 13 July at second reading the amendments to the Law on the Ministry of Interior. The amendments provide for the reimbursement of the police officers who paid for their uniforms.
According to calculations, this will cost approximately 29 million BGN. The order for the payment will be determined through an order by the Minister of interior.
The measure was taken following protests by police officers demanding higher pay.
