The Speaker of Japan’s House of Representatives Fukushiro Nukaga is on an official visit to Bulgaria on September 9.
Nukaga was welcomed by Speaker of Bulgaria’s Parliament Raya Nazaryan with an official ceremony at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Sofia. The two laid a wreath at the memorial. A minute of silence was observed in memory of those who died for the freedom of Bulgaria.
The representative Guard orchestra performed the anthem of Bulgaria. The Speakers of the two Parliaments will have a fae-to-face talk in the historic building of the National Assembly. Fukushiro Nukaga is scheduled to sign the official guest book of the Bulgarian Parliament.

We would like to strengthen our cooperation with your country, which is a member of the EU and NATO, in the form of multilateral cooperation. Now that the world order is facing serious challenges, cooperation between like-minded countries is more important than ever."
Raya Nazaryan, Speaker of Bulgaria’s Parliament: "By the end of the year and next year, thanks to the two embassies in Sofia and Tokyo for holding various conferences, forums that will strengthen economic cooperation, bilateral relations and partnership in the field of innovation, technology, artificial intelligence."
During his visit, Fukushiro Nukaga will hold talks with President Rumen Radev and Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.
In Sofia, Fukushiro Nukaga will visit the St. Alexander Nevsky cathedral and the National Museum of History.
