Bulgaria's Supreme Administrative Court repealed a Decree of the Council of Ministers, which set a minimum wage for 2017 at the amount of BGN 460 on 17th of May. The case was initiated on the basis of a complaint by four representative employers' organizations at national level.
The complaint raised arguments for breach of the legal procedure, as the above-mentioned decree was adopted by the Council of Ministers without the preliminary discussion of the project (in the prescribed legislative timeframe) with the representative employers' organizations.
