Over 682 thousand annual vignettes for passenger cars expire in early 2026.
More than 682,000 annual vignettes for passenger cars will expire during the first two months of 2026. Around 311,000 of these will lapse in January, with over 371,000 expiring in February.
Drivers can check the validity of their vignette on the website www.bgtoll.bg via the “Vignette Check” button. By entering the vehicle registration number and country of registration, users can obtain information on the expiry date, regardless of whether the vignette was purchased at an Infrastructure Agency office or through commercial partners. Vignettes may be listed as “active”, “expired”, or “unused” if purchased with a deferred start of up to 30 days from the official validity date.
Prices for 2026 vignettes will remain unchanged.
From 1 January 2026, vignette fees will be displayed in both euros and lev. Conversion will be carried out automatically at the official fixed exchange rate and will not require any additional action from users. The National Toll Administration reminds drivers that vignettes can be purchased up to 30 calendar days in advance, helping plan journeys during the Christmas and New Year period.
Cash payments in January 2026 will be accepted in either lev or euro, in line with the introduction of the single European currency. Electronic payments will be processed in euros.

The National Toll Administration urges users to purchase vignettes via www.bgtoll.bg, the mobile app, or other authorised channels: at counters for cash payment, via self-service terminals using cards, or through the agency’s partner network, including websites such as vinetki.bg, tollpass.bg, digitoll.bg, yettel.bg, A1.bg, vivacom.bg, grabo.bg, my.fibank.bg, spotins.bg, epay.bg, boleron.bg, as well as at service points for A1, Vivacom, Bulgarian Posts, Easy Pay, Fast Pay, Kolhida 3B, Lukoil, Petrol, OMV, EKO, Kruiz, Benita, Gazprom, Shell, VM Petroleum, Taho Venci service centres, insurance brokers and mobile banking applications including OBB Mobile, TollPass, Phyre, Amarant Bulgaria, iCard, Cardbox, Epay, and Bulbank Mobile.
When purchasing a vignette, users must carefully verify the vehicle registration number, category, and validity period before confirming payment. Responsibility for providing correct information rests with the vehicle owner or user. Incorrectly declared data will be treated as unpaid toll for the respective vehicle.
Registration numbers can be entered in Cyrillic or Latin script, but must match the actual vehicle registration. Only letters and digits should be used. The digit 0 and the letter O are not interchangeable; a zero should be entered as 0, and the letter O as O. Hyphens, dots, or spaces in the registration number should not be entered.
