The Space Industry and the Jobs It Will Need—EnduroSat’s Technical Director Speaks

EnduroSat Technical Director Viktor Danchev discussed Bulgaria’s place in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries – the space sector – in the studio of “The Day Begins” on September 15.

Danchev stressed that Bulgaria already has a tangible presence in the industry thanks to companies such as EnduroSat, which has grown from a small team working in an attic into an international player with hundreds of clients and dozens of satellites launched.

A key focus is the new master’s degree programme in space engineering, established jointly by three universities and industry.

The programme offers 70% practical training, including the assembly, testing, launch and operation of real satellites.

Danchev outlined the wide range of career opportunities in the sector. He also described his own career path – from becoming the company’s first intern to joining a team that is now among Europe’s leading players in terms of satellites launched.
