Police detained a 30-year-old Syrian man who stabbed three of his compatriots at the refugee centre in Harmanli, Southern Bulgaria.
The incident happened last night, June 12, when a report of a brawl in the refugee centre was received at around 23.42. A police motor patrol and gendarmes were sent to the scene and found that the 30-year-old had stabbed three men with a knife. The injured men were aged 25, 18 and 38, and they were examined and released for home treatment, with no danger to life, police said.
The knife has been seized and the reasons for the brawl are being clarified, police said.
This is not the first incident at the centre, although weapons are banned there.
