Turkey’s foreign ministry is appointing 30 new ambassadors for countries around the world, reports the Turkish media. Hasan Ulusoy has been appointed as the new ambassador to Sofia. The current ambassador to Sofia - Süleyman Gökçe, will be appointed to Guatemala.
Hassan Ulusoy is among the top 16 diplomats on a list of 30 ambassadors who were notified of the new appointments, Hürriyet Daily News reported. Born in 1966, Ulusoy has a career as a diplomat behind him. He has been the ambassador to Niger and has also been sent to Nigeria, Iran, Switzerland and to the Council of Europe. He is an expert on human rights and international security and holds a degree in European Studies from the London School of Economics. He speaks fluently English and French as well as basic German and Norwegian.
Sweden, Belgium, Hungary and other countries around the world will also soon be appointed new Turkish Ambassadors.
