Volunteers cleaned the estuary of the Ropotamo river from garbage. The initiative is organised on the occasion of May 22, when the Day of Biological Diversity is marked.
Ecology students from Bourgas University "Prof. Asen Zlatarov", employees of the Regional Environmental and Water Inspectorate in Bourgas and their families collected 20 bags of plastic waste and polyethylene packaging.
"Let's always be ready to lend a hand to nature so that we can be proud of what we achieve together," the volunteers said.
