Young woman killed in Shoumen, perpetrator wanted

Police are searching for the killer of a young woman in the city of Shoumen, Northern Bulgaria. The report of the murder was received around 4 pm on September 9 on the police telephone.

It was reported that a woman in a helpless condition was found in an apartment on “Tzar Osvoboditel” street. During the initial examination, it was clarified that there were signs of violence.

The wanted suspect is a neighbour of the murdered woman. According to the condo manager, he had moved into an apartment on the first floor 2 months ago. The neighbours do not know him well yet, but have not heard any scandals. He was with his parents when he moved in.

The inspection of the crime scene lasted several hours. Investigators' actions continue under the guidance of the Shoumen District Prosecutor's Office.
