An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale was registered northeast of Dimitrovgrad, Southern Bulgaria, the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at BAS said on March 10.
According to the Seismological Centre, the quake occurred at 10:15 and had an epicentre 210 km from Sofia.
So far, there is evidence that the earthquake was felt in the region of Dimitrovgrad, Haskovo and Stara Zagora.
After the earthquake, two other weaker tremors were registered with magnitudes of 2.8 and 2.2.
