A check was undertaken by the court’s security. The alert for the bomb threat was received at 112 at 8.36 in the morning, Bulgaria’s ministery of interior told BNT. The evacuation began at 9.10.
The bomb scare stopped the sittings on key cases, including the case against the former chief of Sofia Appeal Court and Military Appellate Court, gen. Vesselin Pengezov and the midwife Emilia Kovacheva, accused of beating a newborn baby.
