Bulgaria is providing humanitarian assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina to cope with the devastating consequences of the floods of 4 October 2024, the press centre of the Council of Ministers informed.
Bulgaria will allocate 50,000 euros to respond to the most urgent humanitarian needs of the country's population following the devastating floods on 4 October 2024, which claimed at least 21 lives and left hundreds of families in distress.

Funding will be provided from the ODA and humanitarian aid budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Bulgaria's provision of emergency humanitarian assistance in response to the appeal for support made by the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an act of solidarity in reaffirming the traditionally good relations between the two countries.
