A total of 11 migrants, crammed in a car, were found after a crash on the Ring Road in Sofia. Two women were injured in the collision between two cars. The car with the migrants had Romanian registration.
Around 6.00 pm on September 16, emergency medics received a report about the accident and two ambulances were immediately dispatched to the scene. Doctors found a woman with a head injury who was driving one of the cars involved in the accident. She was travelling alone and was taken to Saint Anna hospital.

A woman who was travelling in the car with the 11 people crammed into it was also taken to the same hospital. According to initial reports, she had a hypertensive crisis and a panic attack.
The press office of the Ministry of Interior confirmed about the crash, and at this stage did not report any more data. According to BNT sources, the accident occurred after the driver of the vehicle transporting the migrants disobeyed a police signal to pull over, and a chase followed. Again according to unofficial information, they said they were Syrians.
The traffic jam that has formed because of the accident was in both directions of the Ring Road.
