GERB and the United Patriots withdrew on 17th of May the draft law which envisaged to facilitate the building on the Black Sea coast. The draft, which triggered protests, was approved last week by the Agriculture Committee and was supposed to be subject of review in Parliament tomorrow, 18th of May.
The proposed amendments envisaged extension of the 3 year period for building on agricultural lands with changed status on the Black Sea coast. According to the Bulgarian Socialist Party and Volya party, the draft texts were lobbyists-related and would serve the interests of the investors.
