Government delegations from Bulgaria and North Macedonia on February 11 arrived in Skopje with the first of the resumed direct flights between the two countries capitals.
The first flight on the resumed Sofia - Skopje route lasted exactly 30 minutes.
The delegations were led by the ministers of transport of the two countries, Nikolai Sabev and Blagoy Bochvarsky.
Later on Friday, the delegations will hold bilateral political and business meetings and will discuss the future of the airline. The direct flights are expected to become regular from next month.
The airline is a result of the agreements signed between Bulgaria and North Macedonia for the construction of an air and a railway link.
The agreements were reached at a joint meeting of the governments of the two countries on 25 January in Sofia.
