Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel talked to President of the European Council Charles Michel on February 19.
"It was a pleasure to meet today with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. I thank him for his support for Bulgaria's accession to Schengen. We also discussed important topics such as the euro area, the agenda of the upcoming European Council in March and the European elections. Thank you for the constructive discussion and for your willingness to work together on strategic issues for Bulgaria and Europe," Gabriel's social media post reads.
Mariya Gabriel is in Brussels, where she is attending the EU foreign ministers' meeting.
