Bulgaria’s incumbent President Rossen Plevneliev will meet the President elect Rumen Radev in the President’s office at 14:00 on 14th of November, the press office of the President said.
In the press conference on 13th of November following the end of presidential polls, President-elect Radev said he would accept the invitation for a meeting with the incumbent President.
Speaking after he cast his vote in the second round of the Presidential elections, Pleveneliev said that continuity and building upon what was done remained a priority for the presidential institution. He was firm that he had the power and the experience to form a new interim government, but would first observe the Constitution and would offer the political forces to find sustainable formula of governance within the current National Assembly.
