One parachutist died and another one was injured with life-threatening conditions after jumping from a hot air balloon near the town of Botevgrad, Sofia region, on October 23, the Ministry of Interior confirmed to BNT.
The injured parachutist was admitted at St. Anna's Hospital.
He is 37 years old and in serious condition, the hospital said. He has lumbar spine injuries and is in intensive care.
