"A woman with a gunshot wound has been brought to the emergency ward of Pirogov Hospital. She was immediately brought to the antishock room, where detailed diagnostic activities were carried out.
The 48-year-old woman will be brought to the operating room, where revision activities of her injury will be carried out," the release said.
Her identity is not known at the moment, but according to BNT sources it is not Petrov's wife.
Alexey Petrov was killed after the third attempt on his life. He was a businessman, corporate security and anti-terrorism expert former commando from the specialized unit for comabtting terrorism and a defendant in the “Octopus” case.
