The Prosecutor's office in the Republic of North Macedonia is investigating the attack on the Bulgarian Cultural Information Centre in Skopje, the state prosecution said on March 17.

"Currently, all indications point to the sole motive in this case being misappropriation of property, i.e. theft. The competent institutions are acting to identify the perpetrators," the statement said.
The Prosecutor's office in Skopje pointed out that in addition to the Bulgarian centre, two neighbouring sites were broken into and money was taken from them, while a computer monitor was taken from the Bulgarian centre.
Trace evidence was collected from the crime scene, which will be examined by experts, and video camera recordings have been seized on the orders of the prosecutor.
