SOFIA-BOTEVGRAD ROAD WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR TRAFFIC DUE TO REPAIR ACTIVITIES

Temporary closures of traffic on sections of I-1 (E-79) road from Sofia to Botevgrad, in the region of Hemus motorway, will be in effect from 16th of March until 25th of March. The temporary re-organisation of the traffic is because of pothole repairs in the stretch between Vitinska reka road junction and Ribni Vir, Bulgaria’s Road Infrastructure Agency said on 15th of March.

During the repair works, vehicles can use Hemus motorway or the road through Iskar Gorge – road II-16 Sofia- Rebarkovo. The repairs will take place during daytime and from 18:00 to 08:00 in the mornings, the traffic in that stretch of I-1 Sofia- Botevgrad road will be open for traffic.
