There is no plan to remove the book market on "Slaveykov" square in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said at a meeting of the Municipal Council on 6th of April in response to the declaration submitted by "BSP left Bulgaria" regarding the book market on "Slaveykov" square.
The Mayor explained it was a firm decision and personal commitment to return the book market after the end of the repair works scheduled to take place at the square.
Fandakova added that a special place for the market was envisaged. She also said that during the4 reconstruction of the square, the book market would be temporarily moved to the park outside Rila hotel, which is in the vicinity.
