Benches using kinetic and solar energy have been installed in several locations in the metropolitan area of Oborishte. During the day they collect energy, and at night they emit light, creating a cozy atmosphere. The solar benches are favourite of the children as they swing in different directions.
A total of 10 house-shaped benches are located mainly in Zaimov park in Sofia and in the inter-block areas of the Oborishte region. The mayor of the area saw them in several US states, liked them, and initiated the the delivery and installation with the help of sponsors.
The attractive benches have internally built-in solar panels.
