The tanker Kairos arrived at its destination in Burgas Bay at about 17.30. At the moment the anchor launching operations are being carried out with the help of a 5-ton generator which is loaded on a fishing vessel.
The tanker Kairos arrived at its final destination in Burgas Bay at around 5:30pm on December 15. Operations are currently under way to drop anchor, using a five-tonne generator loaded on a fishing vessel.

Earlier this morning, the vessel was successfully towed away from the area off Ahtopol, where it had remained for more than a week. The tanker set off northwards towards Burgas at around 9:45am, pulled by three tugboats.
The process of securing the tugboats to the tanker and freeing its anchor took nearly four hours. Following the vessel’s departure, water quality in the waters off Ahtopol is being closely monitored.
The operation is being conducted under the supervision of the Executive Agency “Maritime Administration” and is expected to be completed later this evening.
