Traffic changes in effect for the Day of the capital Sofia

In connection with the water blessing ceremony to be held in the capital on the occasion of Sofia’s Day (17 September), Sofia Municipality introduces some traffic resrictions.

From 20.00 on 16 September 2024 until the end of the event on 17 September 2024, a temporary traffic changes will be in effect.

Standing and parking will be prohibited as follows:

• the northwestern arc of St. Alexander Nevsky square between Oborishte Street and 11 August Street,
• the northern arc of St. Alexander Nevsky square between 11 August Street and Dunav Street.
• along "Oborishte" street between Blvd. "Vasil Levski" and "St. Alexander Nevsky" square
• along "Nikolay Gyaurov” square.

From 7.00 a.m. until the conclusion of the water service on 17 September 2024, vehile entry will not be allowed as follows:

• along "Oborishte" street between Blvd. "Vasil Levski" and "St. Alexander Nevsky" square
• along "11 August" street between "Moskovska" street and "St. Alexander Nevsky" squae.
