She also commented on the country's draft budget
Vice President Iliana Iotova on December 8 commented that the upcoming no-confidence vote is different from previous ones, as it enjoys the support of a large majority of the public.
She was speaking at the opening of the public discussion “Bulgaria and the New European Budget 2028–2034: Goals and Opportunities”.
Regarding the revised draft of the national budget for next year, she noted:
“I am deeply concerned that one accounting table will simply be replaced with another, without any indication of the policies Bulgaria needs or the reforms that must be implemented. Dialogue is possible; there could have been a completely different approach towards all partners and Bulgarian society. I would advise that next time they place greater emphasis on verbal communication,” she said.
