A special operation against household crime and vote buying has been going on since midnight on March 17 in Sliven district.
Addresses in Sliven and Nova Zagora are being checked and searched. So far 9 people have been detained, two of them in Sliven on suspicion of vote buying.
The head of the Sliven security police, Commissioner Dimitar Kikyov, explained that lists with personal data, 11,000 BGN and gold were found at an address in Sliven. At an address in Nova Zagora, personal documents and copies of IDs of other persons who were not occupants of the apartment were found.
The operation continues jointly with forestry officials.
