An audit of external experts will be commissioned on Corporate Commercial Bank (CCB) by the end of June, Bulgaria’s Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov said on 25th of June.
He explained that the commissioning of the external auditors had been delayed because the Prosecutor’s Office had some difficulties to provide the funds for the remunerations of the experts.
Tsatsarov also said that he had no information about the development of the court case for the extradition of CCB's majority shareholder, Tzvetan Vassilev. He commented that if the extradition procedure is delayed, there is a possibility to start the proceedings in absentia.
