Bulgaria’s Representative in Eurovision Takes to the Stage for First Rehearsal

A day after the Bulgarian Eurovision delegation arrived in Kiev, our representative Kristian Kostov stepped up for the first time on the stage of the most watched European song contest. The first rehearsal of the Bulgarian representative in Eurovision 2017 went successfully.

Kristian had already learned from the other participants in the contest that the sound in the hall was perfect and the stage was stunning! But he did not hide his excitement from seeing it live for the first time. A dream he has had for years.

The young performer showed outstanding vocal technique that was highly appreciated by the 2017 Eurovision team. His stage outfit was impressing, in the classic black and white, accompanied by elegant graphics that surrounded Kristian during his performance. It was also one of the few that the journalists covering the competition applauded at the international press centre in Kyev.

Minutes after the rehearsal, Kristian met with dozens of foreign media representatives. He said he felt calm and confident on the big stage. On 6th of May, Bulgaria's Delegation in Ukraine will give an official press conference. Bookmakers determine the top spot of our representative, and his song "Beautiful Mess" is palyed in the centre of the Ukrainian capital.
