Workers from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Georgia will be hired for the summer tourist season in Bulgaria, the caretaker deputy-minister of tourism Irena Georgieva said at the opening of a tourist exchange “Your Vacation 2017” in Bourgas on 20th of April.
Talks have been held with the Ministry of foreign affairs as regards the facilitation of obtaining visas for those who want to be employed in the area of tourism in Bulgaria.
Georgieva said that the training for Bulgarian employees needed to be optimized and this should start from the secondary schools and then continue at the universities.
According to forecasts for the season, Bulgaria expects an increase in the number of tourists from Germany – by 15-20% and from Russia – by approx.10%.
