Justice Minister Atanas Slavov expressed Bulgaria's determination to be one of the countries that will participate in the restoration of justice after Russia's criminal war against Ukraine.
Bulgaria will also join the joint investigation team of EuroJust. And it will also launch its own investigation into war crimes in Ukraine, including using testimonies and evidence from Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria.
Atanas Slavov also pointed out that our country is working on amendments to the Criminal Code to include the crime of aggression and to make Russian leaders and warlords subject to prosecution.
