The state is willing to provide incentives for the development of innovations, Bulgaria’s Minister of Economy, Bozidar Lukarski, said at the opening of a Bulgarian-Israeli business forum on innovations on 16th of July in Sofia.
The efforts of the Ministry of Economy are focused on the development and implementation of an innovation strategy for smart specialization. "Sofia Tech Park" is one of the major projects that will provide scientific infrastructure for over 20 million BGN to assists the Bulgarian business.
A priority is to create a legal framework, which will regulate public relations in the implementation of the innovation policy. Improving the access of small and medium sized enterprises to financing is also among the main goals, Minister Lukarski said.
