The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 282 from 2,711 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 4, 2024.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,334,766.
The active cases are 6,075
Of the total, 375 patients are in hospitals, 28 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
• 50 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,290,284
• 62 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to 4,724,552;
• 4 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,689;
Of the daily cases, 57,09% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.
There were 50 new hospitalisations, of which 64,00% had not been vaccinated.
