Following the heavy rainfall on 3 October 2025, the evacuation of residents began at the Elenite seaside resort complex near Sveti Vlas, in the municipality of Nessebar (on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast, located about 10 km north of Sunny Beach and 50 km north of Burgas, situated at the foot of the Balkan Mountains)
