The European Congress of Neurosurgery opened in Sofia in the evening on October 13.
More than 1600 medical specialists from Europe and the world, as well as more than 370 speakers, will participate in it.
The motto of the prestigious forum is "Innovation. Education. Leadership."
The programme over the coming days includes sessions on technological advances, innovative treatments and new, original research on the brain and nervous system.
