Firefighters extinguished a forest fire that broke out in a deciduous forest on the land of Babek village this afternoon, August 18.
A military helicopter from the Krumovo Air Base also joined the efforts to extinguish the fire.
At the same time, a fire also engulfed dry grasses near the village of Luben, near the Pyasuchnik Dam. The five teams of firefighters from Syedineniye, Stamboliyski and Plovdiv are supported by the military of the air base.
The terrain is rugged and difficult to access, and the wind is proving to be one of the serious obstacles to the flights.
