Residents of the village of Garmen in Southwest Bulgaria, joined by rockers, held a protest in front of the building of the local municipality on 2nd of June.
The protest comes after the expiration of a seven-day deadline, which Garmen residents had given the state authorities to find a solution to the issues with the illegal buildings in the Roma neighbourhood of Kremikovtsi.
On 2nd of June, the protesters said that they were setting a new deadline – 18th of July.
The protesters marched to the Roma area, where 10 days earlier, there was a mass fight involving Bulgarians and Roma, leading to several injuries and arrests.
