GERB and the United Patriots have made progress in the talks on pension increase, but for the time being refused to share details. This became clear after another four-hour meeting at the National Assembly on 10th of April..
GERB said they regarded the United Patriots as a single formation, with which they could form a parliamentary majority and did not discuss whether all parties from it would have representatives in the government. The talks In the next days continue on the sectors of the economy, social policy, education, foreign policy.
The participants in the negotiations say they have not discussed who will be nominated for Speaker of Parliament, although the first sitting is scheduled for next week. Among the names tipped for the post are Dimitar Glavchev from GERB and Yavor Notev from Ataka.
Every detail of the talks is agreed with GERB leader Boyko Borisov. Tomorrow, 11th of April, GERB is expected to meet with the BSP, but the topic is not related to negotiations for forming a cabinet, but to the priorities of Bulgaria’s EU Presidency 2018.
