GERB leader Boyko Borissov, the winner in the 26th of March early parliamentary elections, proposed the post of speaker of Parliament to the Bulgarian Socialist Party, Borissov told journalists on 11th of April following a meeting between representatives of GERB and BSP.
He said he made the offer to the BSP leader, Korneliya Ninova because of the good result of her party at the early elections.
Ninova turned down the offer with the motive that the MPs of BSP would be “firm opposition” in Parliament.
