“GOLDEN CAT” MAGIC FESTIVAL TOOK PLACE IN BULGARIA’S GABROVO

For two days, magic captured Gabrovo, also known as the capital of humour and satire with a variety of tricks and ilusions. The festival ended late on on 9th of April with a spectacular show featuring card tricks, vanishing people illusions, disappearing objects and unprecedented fire show.

The festival "Golden Cat" presented the main genres of magic – manipulation, tricks giveaways that require dexterity, speed and accuracy of your hands, and large illusions.

The event brought together world champions and established names in magic arts. Magicians are adamant that to be a good magician you must believe in what you do.

The culmination of this year's "Golden Cat" was one of the most famous and dangerous tricks of legendary magician Harry Houdini - "The Challenge of Death" which was further complicated. Magician Danny Majic had to get rid of a straitjacket hanging upside down over a trap with knives and burning rope.
