GREEK INVESTORS IN BULGARIA TRANSFERRED SAVINGS TO BULGARIAN BANKS

The financial crisis and the closing of the banks in Greece will not have an impact on the Greek investors who have companies in Bulgaria and for years have developed their business in the South-West Bulgarian region of Blagoevgrad.

Most of the Greek citizens who have set up companies in the region of Blagoevgrad have transferred their savings to branches of various banks in Bulgaria.

According to the Greek investors, in the recent years, Bulgaria is a preferred place to develop small and medium sized business, because of the lower taxes and fees for the companies and the lower wages in Bulgaria.
