JUDGES TO CORPBANK’s INSOLVENCY CASE WILL BE SELECTED PUBLICLY

The selection of the judges for Corporate Commercials Bank’s insolvency case at Sofia Appeal Court will be made publicly available.

Sofia City Court has already declared CCB insolvent and set 6th of November 2014 as the initial day of its insolvency.

At the end of April 2014, Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office and the Bulgarian National Bank lodged appeals against the court ruling regarding the initial date of the insolvency. The prosecution’s motives were that the CCB’s’s insolvency date should be 30th of September, 2014, when the bank reported negative own capital in its financial and supervision reports submitted at BNB.

CCB’s majority shareholder “Bromak” also filed an appeal against the insolvency decision.
