Early in the morning оn March 8, the queue of lorries at Kulata checkpoint is about ten kilometres long and it is not decreasing. The Customs Agency explained that yesterday was a public holiday in Greece, so many institutions and outlets were not open and many deliveries were postponed until today.
Drivers are getting nervous about the whole situation and the waiting.
"Something must be wrong. When they are working and there is traffic, we get through in two or three hours. Now we've been here waiting for four hours and we don't know how long will will be waiting," a driver complained.
Besides, there have been thorough checks on the lorries carrying grain. Grain exports from Bulgaria have not been stopped. Only controls have been increased.
