Police patrols at Sofia exits
A man was shot dead in Sofia in "Gorna Banya" residential district in the evening on January 31.
According to unconfirmed information, the victim was Martin Bozhanov, nicknamed the Notary.
The alert was filed shortly before 19:30.
Martin Bozhanov was known for involvement in frauds.
This is likely the reason for the shooting at him.
According to BNT sources, the police in Sofia are actively searching for the perpetrators of the shooting.
There are police patrols at the exits of Sofia.
The Ministry of Interior said at a briefing that teams would be working at the scene all night gathering evidence.
