New Czech-built trains will now operate on Sofia’s metro network. One of the units was unveiled today, November 20, at the Obelya depot.
During the presentation, officials outlined several of the trains’ technical specifications.

The event was attended by Mayor Vasil Terziev, Deputy Mayor for Transport Viktor Chaushev, the management of “Metropoliten” - the municipal company that operates the Sofia underground train service, and representatives of the Czech manufacturer.
