Bulgaria’s caretaker Prime Minister Ognyan Gerdzhikov invited GERB leader Boyko Borissov, the winner in the 26th of March early parliamentary election, to discuss the preparation of the position which the country has to present in Brussels in relation to the negotiations with Gazprom. Gerdzhikov informed about the proposed meeting on 21st of April at the hearing in Bulgaria’s Parliament regarding personnel changes carried out during the governance of the caretaker cabinet.
The MP from GERB and former minister of energy Temenuzhka Petkova told about the forthcoming meeting in an interview for the BNT morning programme “The Day Begins” earlier today.
Our country should make the most of re-negotiating with Gazprom. Therefore, a motivated standpoint should be drafted and submitted to the European Commission, she believes.
It is expected that on Monday, 24th of April, the caretaker government will be ready with proposals and analysis.
